I do not understand the spin. On the one hand Hizballoh propaganda has cried and world has agreed that Israel has used too much force in Lebanon. Yet on the other hand Hezballoh than declares military victory having defeated the great military might of Israel. I do not understand how a failure to protect your civilians and hold your territory allows you to be seen as the victor. Can some one please explain it. Now I don't buy Israels claim of victory either, Hezballoh will be back to fight another day and their intelligence was sub-par at best considering a Saar-5 frigate was seriously hit and that they did not expect the sophisticated anti-tank missiles. So Israel may have taken back southern Lebanon but Hizballok remains. The problem is that wars which do not have a clear winner/loser will only result in more war.
How do you claim to be both the victim and the victor and get the world to believe both. Either Hizballoh PR is better than any marketing group in the west or the world is just that stupid. I guess PT Barnum was right, a sucker is born everyday.
