Athens Explosion
They don't know much as of yet other than it looks like no one was hurt and not to leap to any conclusions. A newspaper received a bomb warning 30 minutes before the blast, plus today was to see the start of a seties of transport strikes. Doesn't sound like the usual lot.
Add to that the fact it was at 6am local time (hardly a casualty maximisation strategy), that there was another attack on a ministerial building just six months ago, and that members of the Greek 17 November terrorist/revolutionary group have just begun a fresh trial and this looks like it could well be domestic terrorism - in fact, that seems by far the most likely.
Anyway, some Greek blogs in English that may be able to provide a bit more info:

I haven't heard anyone claim the bombing, but as you say the perpetrators went out of their way to not have casualties (four lightly wounded, from glass and the shock wave). I'll be posting something as soon as we hear more - plus I'll be passing from the spot later on today.
It's, as you point out, probably related with this week's strikes and/or the November 17 terrorist organization's appeal being tried currently in Athens. Anyway it's still top of the news over here but it won't be for long (unless the perpetrators identity is really surprising)...
Nothing much to report, the modus operandi is similar to a previous attack by a group called "revolutionary struggle" or something. The police are investigating, no organization has claimed the attack yet though.
Minor injuries and a couple of blown up cars is the total toll - and a hell of a traffic jam down-town well until 1 o clock at least.
As far as I have managed to find out there is no information yet on who was behind the bombing today. I don't generally blog about daily news here in Greece (my main focus being human rights and racism) but I was extremely happy to see you had linked to me here. Thanks for that.
