- Europhobia's new look preview excitement! - initial template courtesy of the lovely Chris, of qwghlm fame, with a few fiddles by me - so any HTML/CSS cock-ups are entirely my fault.
It's still a work in progress (need to twig how to re-do these "Europhobit" things, get trackback up and running again, make sure that comments work properly, plus probably re-install the fancy drop-down menu things I've got, re-think the blogroll and archives and whack up a few other bits and bobs once I've integrated it to this URL etc. etc.), but what do you reckon so far? Any problems in specific browsers/operating systems (as I've only been able to check it in Safari on Mac OSX since fiddling this morning)? Any design issues? Anything else missing?
Suggestions/comments much appreciated - I'm hoping to have this up and running over here next week.

swanky, but doesn't the main column merit being a bit bigger than the other two?
The main column's currently variable width, depending on window size, while the others are fixed. I'm not sure how to keep the main one fixed (or, ideally, not shrinking below a certain width) without the others getting shunted to the bottom of the page - entirely due to me being utterly crap at web stuff...
The main column isn't nearly big enough compared to the two sidebars. Once you have scrolled down a bit it looks like your only using 1/3 of the screen. Looks like time for HTML for Dummies
MUCH more readable. Go you.
I like the new look. In my browser (Firefox, of course!) the main column to the left looks fine for size. I agree with md....much more readable. I'd say go for it!
No! I hate having the main text on the extreme left, it's one of the things I dislike about the Indytab's online version.
2 columns with the main on the left makes sense, 3 columns should have the main in the middle, otherwise it looks weird.
I didn't have problems with the current version except for the clutter, but I've been using Mozilla and Firefox for ages.
OTOH, you have promted me to finally get a blogger id, then I figured replying here more useful...
If you view it in Firefox with the history/Sage sidebar open (on the left) the title disappears behind the praise box.
Sorry it doesn't "disappear" as such. It is partially obscured however.
