General election blog roundup 7
I flatly refuse to accept this new numbering heresy. Roundup 7 (NOT 8) is here.
As an extra until I find more time, check out The New York Times' profile of Michael Howard (reg. or BugMeNot required). They seem to be comparing him to Sandra Bullock...

Normal copyright rules apply? Except when it suits you obviously as you've ripped off somebody's copyright to put that (doctored) picture of Tony Blair on your site, haven't you?
More Lib Dem do as we say not as we do tosh, eh?
How, exactly? I doctored the picture myself - which is why it's so rubbish. I originally posted it here. It was taken from the Guardian's Election blog here, and I posted a link back to the blog in the comments section of that post, so it's very easy for them to trace it.
Now I will freely admit that copyright laws regarding photoshopped pictures are somewhat unclear, and that it can easily be considered dodgy, but if you've managed to find demonstrable proof that altering images is a breach of the original image's copyright holder's legal rights, large swathes of the internet will have to be shut down. You could start with places like b3ta and Worth1000, sites entirely devoted to photoshopping other people's images.
And where, precisely, did the "Lib Dem" thing come from? If you note my previous post, you'll see that I haven't decided which way I'm voting yet. And if you note the rest of the site, you'll see that I am not, nor ever have been, a member of any political party.
In other words: either grow up or prove your point, there's a good chap.
Nosemonkey,
Still undecided?ARE you going to vote for a party or against a party?
robin - I'm not planning to vote for or against any party. I'm planning to vote for a candidate. As of yet, I don't know enough about some of the candidates standing in my constituency to make an informed choice.
Nosemonkey,
Unfortunately I dont give to much credence to individual candidates. There is too much that they lose if they show themselves a truly independent minded back-bencher.There are exeptions, mostly who I disagree totally with but at least they are original to themselves.Tam Dayell,Denis Skinner and Tony Benn spring to mind.
