Go on, try it on for size... Sounds great, doesn't it? the sort of thing that'd make you truly proud to share the same nationality as such a towering figure of gravitas, common sense and political acumen.

Perhaps we should give him a few more days and see if he can drum up the support he claims to have... Presumably it'll be from UKIP members/supporters as they seem to have reached their peak with the European elections. So rather than simply taking more Tory votes, he'll be taking votes of other hardcore Eurosceptics and thus ensure they'll have even less impact...

Maybe he's in the pay of the Labour government? He used to be a Labour MP after all, and he's certainly doing a good job of buggering up the opposition and focussing attention on the lunatic fringe...

I noticed in the background there wasn't droves of supporters he had promised.
